Exciting News!
We’re thrilled to share that our new Norwood Wellness Clinic has officially reopened, marking the successful completion of our construction project! The clinic will be open Monday to Thursday (and Saturday) from 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM. It will focus exclusively on wellness services such as exams, vaccines, and preventive care. ❤️🩹
All urgent, sick, and emergency cases will continue to be treated at our Cassat Hospital. 🏥 This update allows us to better streamline services, improve efficiency, and continue providing high-quality, affordable care to every pet who needs us. We’re so grateful for your continued support and flexibility as we grow to serve more families across our community. 🐾 |

Angel Fund Spotlight: Koda’s Story When sweet Koda came in to see Dr. Steele, his family was desperate for answers. He was in pain — and after testing, our team discovered the cause: bladder stones, a dangerous and extremely painful condition that can quickly become life-threatening without surgery. 😓
Thanks to the Angel Fund, which provides financial assistance for pets who need urgent medical care but whose families cannot afford it, Koda received the urgent cystotomy surgery he needed to heal and stay by his family’s side. 🙏
His mom shared, “Koda is my son. Koda gives me so much comfort when my anxiety is there and helps me feel better...Koda never leaves my side. I would not be the same if he weren’t with me.”

New Name, Same Mission
Last month, we officially rebranded from First Coast No More Homeless Pets to EveryPet! 😍 While our name has changed, our commitment to compassionate, affordable veterinary care and reducing pet overpopulation remains stronger than ever. The new brand reflects our belief that every pet deserves care, love, and a chance at a happy life—no matter their circumstance. ❤️🩹 Thank you for supporting us through this exciting transformation and helping us continue to make a difference in the lives of pets and their families every day. ✨ |

Thank You, High Reason!
We’d like to extend a huge thank you to our friends at High Reason, who generously led a pet food drive benefiting our Pet Food Bank. Thanks to their leadership and the community’s generosity, more than 4,000 pounds of pet food were donated — including 500 pounds from High Reason alone. Their support helps keep pets with the families who love them. Thank you, High Reason! |

Spay Day Success
Our November Spay Day reminded us just how much impact we can make when our community comes together for pets in need. ❤️ We were thrilled to provide spay/neuter surgeries for 6 dogs and 23 cats from South Georgia Equine Rescue and Lucky Cat Adoptions— giving each one a healthier, safer future. 🐾
A big shoutout to the 21 veterinary students from the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine (Classes of 2026–2029) who gained hands-on experience under the guidance of skilled mentors. And of course, we’re incredibly grateful to The John R Peterson Foundation for making these monthly learning and lifesaving events possible! 🫶
Every Spay Day helps reduce pet overpopulation, supports local rescue partners, and strengthens the bond between people and their pets. ✨ |

Building the Future of Veterinary Care We’re proud to share that our Veterinary Student Training Program continues to grow! Through hands-on experience alongside our skilled doctors, students gain invaluable skills while helping us expand access to affordable, high-quality care for pets in need. ❤️🩹 Thanks to the overwhelming success and interest in our teaching programs at HQHVSN, we’re expanding our educational efforts into a dedicated space at our Norwood location. Under the leadership of Dr. Brian DiGangi, a new surgery student team—supported by a newly hired Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT)—will provide students with even more opportunities for hands-on learning. 🤩 This expansion allows instructional surgeries to operate independently from regular HQHVSN procedures, giving both areas the flexibility and focus they need to thrive. We anticipate welcoming our first extern to the new training center the week of December 8!

Dr. Aubrey Steele: Healing Pets, Touching Lives
For over six years, Dr. Aubrey Steele has been a vital part of EveryPet, bringing her passion, expertise, and heart to every patient she treats. ❤️🩹 A graduate with honors from the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine, Dr. Steele joined EveryPet (formerly First Coast No More Homeless Pets) in 2019, adding more than 15 years of veterinary experience to the team. 🩺
Her training spans orthopedic and soft tissue surgery, honed through advanced study at The Oquendo Center in Las Vegas, and she also has deep expertise in internal medicine and critical care. Dr. Steele’s journey into veterinary medicine began with a fascination for zoo medicine, volunteering at a local zoo and animal hospital before finding her calling in community-focused veterinary care. “One of the most rewarding aspects of my job is repairing broken bones in pets and then seeing them walk again,” she shares. “I enjoy talking to my patients while they are at the clinic—it’s all part of building trust and helping them feel safe.” 🐾
Reflecting on her work at EveryPet, Dr. Steele emphasizes the meaningful impact of her role: “I appreciate the magic of EveryPet. My role allows me to transform the lives of pets suffering from illness or injuries caused by accidents or abuse. Thanks to this incredible organization, I’ve renewed my commitment to be the very best advocate for those with no voice. There is nothing more meaningful than bringing relief to an animal in need while supporting the neighbors who rely on us for compassionate, affordable care.”
From advanced surgical procedures to daily acts of care, Dr. Steele exemplifies EveryPet’s mission, combining skill, dedication, and heart to improve the lives of pets and the families who love them! 🥰 |

Volunteer Shoutout!
We’re sending a HUGE thank-you to everyone who lent a hand with our recent Pet Food Bank efforts! 💙
On Friday, November 14th, our amazing volunteers helped unload and organize our latest Amazon delivery — ensuring thousands of pounds of pet food make their way to families who need it most.
An extra round of applause goes to the KPMG volunteer group, who joined us beforehand to clean and prep our warehouse bins for the big day! Their hard work made this massive delivery smoother and more efficient for our entire team. 🥰
EveryPet simply couldn’t do this without our dedicated volunteers. Whether you’re an individual looking to fulfill community service hours, part of a corporate volunteer group, or just a passionate animal lover wanting to make a difference, we’d love to have you join us! 🫶 |

Friends of Precious Paws
This past spring, we founded a group known as the Friends of Precious Paws—a special community of individuals who have generously given $1,000 or more to support our mission. 💙
These members demonstrate a true passion for making a difference in the lives of animals while celebrating the special bond pets share with their humans. Today, we want to extend a special thanks to our Furry Friends members. Please join us in celebrating and thanking them! 👏👏👏 |
