Eckerd Workforce Development

EveryPet is partnered with Eckerd Workforce Development to provide jobs for young adults facing systemic barriers.

The development and career readiness program targets at-risk, low-income young adults (ages 16-24,) with the goals of self-sufficiency, employment, and advanced training.

EveryPet has participated in this program since June 2016 and continues to accept interns to join our vet clinic team.

Veterinary Technician Education & Employment Program (VTEEP)

VTEEP is designed to educate, train, support, and employ residents from targeted low-income zip codes across the Northeast Florida region. Through partnerships with a host of community organizations, we offer a paid veterinary technician education and employment program, complete with life skills training, aimed at providing a successful career path for young adults in neighborhoods experiencing opportunity gaps. With students who are now trained, valuable members of our team we are proud that some graduates have stayed and also of the program’s 75% graduation success rate.

Do you love animals and want a hands-on career where you make a real difference every day? The Veterinary Technician Education & Employment Training program (VTEEP) is now accepting applications!

Colleges of Veterinary Medicine Partnerships

As a partner with a host of Colleges of Veterinary Medicine and a teaching nonprofit veterinary hospital, we are dedicated to providing externship and mentorship opportunities to veterinary students and recent graduates. We maintain partnerships with veterinary schools around the country, including the University of Florida, to help prepare the next generation of veterinary professionals.
