Impact Story: Meet Baby J At EveryPet, we are reminded of the importance of our mission through the stories of our clients—stories that reflect the profound bond between people and the animals who stand beside them through life’s hardest moments. Baby J’s story is one of those reminders. ❤️
Three and a half years ago, during one of the most difficult chapters of her life, Christian met a pregnant feral cat she lovingly named Kitty Purry. Just two weeks later, Kitty Purry gave birth to two kittens—Baby J and Sis—who have remained by Christian’s side ever since, bringing companionship, comfort, and what she describes as “immense healing.”
Baby J carries especially deep meaning. Christian named him in honor of her rainbow baby, Joshua, and says he has lived up to his name in every way. She describes him as acting “exactly like a human baby”—always nearby, always attuned to her emotions. Each night, he curls up beside her, purring and kneading to comfort her whenever she feels overwhelmed or low.
So when Christian noticed Baby J grooming excessively, eating less, and growing progressively weaker, she knew something was wrong. She brought him to EveryPet, where he was diagnosed and treated for a life-threatening blockage. In moments like these, no family should have to choose between financial stability and lifesaving care.
Through the Angel Fund, the financial burden of Baby J’s emergency treatment was lifted, allowing Christian to focus entirely on what mattered most: helping him heal and bringing him home. 🙏
The Angel Fund exists to ensure that no animal is ever turned away due to financial hardship. Thanks to the generosity of our community, EveryPet provided $750,117 in charitable care in 2025, helping keep pets healthy, safe, and where they belong—with the families who love them!
Today, Baby J is back home doing what he does best: bringing comfort, love, and light to those around him. Christian shares her heartfelt gratitude with everyone who played a role in his recovery. “Everyone here is truly a Godsend—from the front desk and volunteers to the amazing doctors and technicians.” — Mama Christian ✨ |

May Spay Days
Thanks to the generous support of the John R. Peterson Foundation, we hosted two successful Spay Days on May 3 and May 24. 🐾
Working alongside our community partners, Heart 2 Heart Animal Welfare and Lucky Cat Adoptions, we provided spay/neuter surgeries for 21 dogs and 35 cats. Our May 3 event was our largest Spay Day on record, with 33 animals served, and during our May 24 event, we celebrated a major milestone: 100 Spay Day surgeries completed in 2026!
These events also help train the next generation of veterinary professionals. In partnership with the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine and Lincoln Memorial University, we welcomed 37 veterinary students from the classes of 2027, 2028, and 2029, giving them valuable hands-on experience with spay and neuter procedures. 🩺
We're proud to improve the health and well-being of pets while helping educate future veterinarians. If you're interested in having your pet spayed or neutered, visit our Spay & Neuter Programs page to learn more! |

Pet Food Drive Success Thanks to the generosity of our amazing community and the dedication of our incredible volunteers—led by the one and only Corinne Grant—our weekend pet food drive at Roosevelt Publix was an overwhelming success! We're excited to share that we collected an incredible 4,191 pounds of pet food for local pets in need, including: 🐶 2,973 pounds of dog food 🐱 1,218 pounds of cat food
A special thank-you goes to Corinne Grant of Watson Realty for organizing her third pet food drive benefiting EveryPet. Your compassion, leadership, and commitment to helping pets and the people who love them continue to make a meaningful impact in our community. This year's food drive was dedicated in loving memory of Chonk, the beloved Watson Realty office cat, whose memory inspired an outpouring of generosity and support. ❤️

Friends of Baker County Partnership We’re proud to partner with fellow nonprofit Friends of Baker County Animals to expand access to spay/neuter and vaccination services for families in rural communities. 🐾
Through this partnership, EveryPet helps bridge access to care by transporting pets from Baker County, Florida to our Norwood Spay & Neuter Clinic for surgery and vaccinations. After successfully completing our first transport earlier this year, we look forward to continuing this collaboration and making essential veterinary care more accessible for local families. ❤️ |

Using Your IRA to Support EveryPet A gift from your IRA is a simple, tax-efficient way to provide ongoing support to EveryPet. ✨ If you are age 70½ or older, you can make a Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD) directly from your IRA to EveryPet. This allows your gift to go straight to the organization without being subject to income tax (though it does not count as a charitable deduction).
If you are 73 or older, your Required Minimum Distribution (RMD) can also be directed to charity—up to $111,111 individually or $222,222 for couples in 2026—helping reduce or eliminate the federal income tax owed on that amount.
You can also make a lasting impact by naming EveryPet as a beneficiary of your IRA or other financial accounts. This simple step requires only a beneficiary form and allows your legacy gift to support animals in need for years to come! 😊 Legal Name: First Coast No More Homeless Pets, d/b/a EveryPet Address: 6817 Norwood Avenue, Jacksonville, FL 32208 Tax ID: 01-0709158
If you choose to include EveryPet in your plans, we would be honored to welcome you to our Circle of Forever Friends—a community of supporters creating a lasting legacy for animals! |

| Volunteer Spotlight: The Whole Crew!
EveryPet recently hosted a volunteer appreciation dinner at Wicked Barley Brewing Company to celebrate and thank our incredible volunteers. In 2025 alone, we welcomed 112 corporate volunteers, and across all programs, our volunteers contributed an extraordinary 10,312 hours of service!
Volunteers are the backbone of EveryPet and, like all nonprofit organizations, we simply couldn’t do this work without them. Their commitment to the Jacksonville pet community is evident in everything they do, and we are deeply grateful for the care and heart they bring to our mission! |

This past spring, we founded the Friends of Precious Paws — a special community of individuals who have generously given $1,000 or more to support our mission. 💙
These members demonstrate a true passion for making a difference in the lives of animals while celebrating the special bond pets share with their humans. Today, we want to extend a special thanks to our Furry Friends members. Please join us in celebrating and thanking them! 👏👏👏 |
