None of this work happens alone. It’s made possible by our dedicated staff, compassionate volunteers, generous donors, and engaged supporters who believe that pets belong in loving homes — not shelters — and that access to care should never be out of reach.

On April 9th, we’ll gather at Deerwood Castle, home of the Jacksonville Sports Car Museum, for a one-of-a-kind night benefiting EveryPet’s mission to provide affordable veterinary care for pets in our community.

Every ticket purchased helps keep pets healthy, in loving homes, and out of shelters.

As part of EveryPet’s commitment to both pet safety and environmental responsibility, we gladly accept donations of child-resistant pill vials that can be safely reused in our clinics.

Your donation, which can be dropped off at either of our locations, will help reduce waste while supporting affordable veterinary care for pets in our community!

Before donating, please ensure vials are:
✔️ Completely empty and free of medication
✔️ Prescription labels fully removed
✔️ Intact with matching lids — no cracks, heavy staining, or strong odors

🧼 Safety First: Every donated vial is thoroughly washed, sanitized, and fully dried by trained volunteers. We follow strict internal protocols to ensure each vial meets clinic standards before it is ever used for a patient. Any vials that do not meet safety criteria will be responsibly discarded.

Your small act of giving makes a meaningful impact — helping us care for pets, protect families, and reduce environmental waste one vial at a time. 💙

✂️ Upcoming Spay Day with Project HEAL ✂️

Mark your calendars! Our next Spay Day is coming up on April 19, in collaboration with the dedicated students and faculty of Project HEAL. 🥰

Spay Day plays an important role in preventing unwanted litters, reducing shelter intake, and keeping pets healthier long-term. Through events like this, we’re able to expand access to affordable spay and neuter services for families in our community.

Spay Days, made possible by the J.R Peterson Foundation, are a powerful reminder of what’s possible when passionate veterinary students and dedicated community partners come together for a shared mission!

✨ Community Outreach: Cypress Village Visit ✨

Last month, the EveryPet team had the pleasure of visiting Cypress Village for a wonderful community outreach event!

It was an incredible visit where we had the opportunity to share more about EveryPet’s mission and the programs we offer to support pet owners and their beloved companions.

A heartfelt thank you to Cypress Village for hosting us so warmly and for their generous donations to our pet food bank. We’re grateful for partners like you who help make our work possible!

🩷April Volunteer Spotlight: Deinya Mautz 🩷

Deinya is a reliable and loyal EveryPet volunteer who is a part of the Norwood’s Laundry Volunteer Team!

Every Wednesday, Deinya is at Norwood washing, drying, and folding laundry for the busy surgery staff.

When she ends her shift, the laundry room is organized with the shelves full. ✨

“I appreciate volunteers like Deinya, who have a big impact on EveryPet’s mission of keeping pets in the home,” said EveryPet Volunteer Manager Brian Wierima. 🐾

“She is always positive and is a wonderful influence on other volunteers and staff. I wish I could clone volunteers like Deinya, who truly makes a difference on the Jacksonville pet community!”

We’re hoping to see more volunteers stepping up to help with laundry at our Norwood location!

🚨 Help Keep Pets Fed — Support Our Pet Food Bank 🚨

No one should have to choose between feeding their pets and feeding their family.

That’s why EveryPet’s Pet Food Bank exists — to help ensure beloved dogs and cats can stay right where they belong: at home with the people who love them. ❤️

Our Pet Food Bank provides a one-month supply of pet food (up to one year) to qualifying families experiencing financial hardship. By offering this support, we help reduce pet hunger, prevent unnecessary surrenders, and keep pets healthy, nourished, and with the families who cherish them. 🐶🐱

You can help, too! Donations of pet food or financial contributions directly sustain this program and make an immediate, meaningful impact.

Together, we’re protecting the bond between pets and their families — one bowl at a time. 💙

This past spring, we founded the Friends of Precious Paws—a special community of individuals who have generously given $1,000 or more to support our mission. 💙

These members demonstrate a true passion for making a difference in the lives of animals while celebrating the special bond pets share with their humans.
