2. Student Spay Days
At First Coast No More Homeless Pets (FCNMHP), we’re committed to both saving lives and shaping the future of veterinary medicine. ✨
Our recent Student Spay Day on March 16, 2025, was a huge success, giving students hands-on experience in high-quality, high-volume spay-neuter techniques. 💙
Thanks to generous support from sponsors like the John R. Peterson Foundation, these events help train the next generation of veterinary professionals while providing essential care to pets in need. 🐾
Don’t miss our upcoming Student Spay Days on April 13 and April 27—helping pets and students alike! 🙌
Angel Fund: Oliver’s Story
A Miracle Made Possible by YOU!
Meet Oliver, a sweet and playful cat who’s brought immeasurable joy to his owner, Jan. At 68 years old and living alone, Jan found a new best friend in Oliver after visiting Nassau Humane Society. Oliver was the PERFECT fit—quickly becoming Jan’s constant companion and filling her days with love, laughter, and play. 🐈
But when Oliver developed a life-threatening urinary blockage, things took a frightening turn… (Urinary blockages are extremely serious and can be fatal without immediate treatment.) 😓
Thanks to our Angel Fund, Oliver received the urgent care he desperately needed, and now he’s back to his playful, cuddly self with Jan again! Jan says, “He seldom meows, but his little purr when he curls up on my chest is like music to my heart.” ❤️
Because of your support, countless lives like Oliver’s have been saved. We’re SO grateful for the impact our community continues to have, making life-saving care accessible to pets and their families. Thank you for being part of our mission and helping to keep families like Jan and Oliver together! 🙏

Exciting News!
FCNMHP has received a $25,000 grant from national nonprofit Petco Love to expand access to affordable veterinary care, particularly spay and neuter services for community cats.
With this investment, FCNMHP expects to provide over 540 critical surgeries for community cats, reducing shelter overcrowding and improving pet welfare in our region.
