Angel Fund: Ruby's Miracle 🐾 |
|
|
When Brennan noticed something was wrong with her puppy, Ruby, panic set in. The curious, energetic pup had accidentally gotten into Tylenol and Zofran—common household medications that are extremely toxic to dogs. Even small amounts can lead to severe organ damage or death if not treated right away.
For Brennan, the thought of losing Ruby was unthinkable. “She is literally my best friend,” Brennan said. “We go on daily morning walks on the nature trails by our house. She plays all day with her toys and my mom’s dog. We eat breakfast, lunch, and dinner together. I really treat her like one of my own kids.”
Thanks to the Angel Fund, Ruby received immediate, life-saving care from the team at First Coast No More Homeless Pets. With quick intervention, she pulled through—and was soon back to wagging her tail, bringing joy to everyone around her.
The Angel Fund ensures that no pet parent has to face an emergency like this alone. We understand that puppies like Ruby aren’t just pets—they’re family. |

🎉 Mission in Motion: Recapping Recent Wins 🎉 |
|
|
Thanks to the incredible support of our community, July brought meaningful results for pets and the people who love them. 🥰 From collecting thousands of pounds of pet food to providing affordable spay/neuter services to hundreds of families in need, your generosity powered real change. 🙌 Here’s a look at two events that made a big impact this month: |

Supporting Rising Vets: Sunday Spay Day 🩺 |
Sunday, July 27th was all about compassion, collaboration, and creating brighter futures—both for pets and future vets! ✨
We were thrilled to welcome 19 talented veterinary students from the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine for a full day of hands-on learning and life-saving work. 🩺 Together, this passionate crew provided spay/neuter surgeries for 5 dogs from loving homes and 12 cats from South Georgia Equine Rescue. 🐶🐱
At FCNMHP, we’re proud to support the next generation of veterinary professionals. Opportunities like these don’t just sharpen surgical skills—they build confidence, compassion, and a deep-rooted commitment to animal welfare. ❤️ Thank you to all the students and mentors who gave your time and talent this Sunday. Your impact is real, and your hearts are huge! |

Roosevelt Publix Pet Food Drive Results 🐾 |
|
|
Thanks to the generosity of our amazing community and the dedication of our incredible volunteers—led by the one and only Corinne Grant — our weekend pet food drive at Roosevelt Publix was a HUGE success! 🤩 We’re thrilled to share that we collected a total of 4,768 pounds of food for local pets in need! 🎉
This couldn’t have come at a better time. Our Pet Food Bank has been running low due to rising demand, and these supplies will go a long way in helping families keep their beloved pets at home, safe, and fed. ❤️
We would like to extend a special thanks to Corinne Grant of Watson Realty for organizing her third food drive for FCNMHP. Corinne's compassion and commitment are making a real difference in our community. 🫶 |

⭐ A Special Thanks to Travis and Margaret Storey! ⭐
This past spring, we founded a group known as the Friends of Precious Paws. This special group is made up of individuals who have generously given $1,000 or more to support our mission. Members demonstrate a passion for making a difference in the lives of animals while celebrating the special bond pets share with their humans. 🥰 Each month, we will be featuring a list of our generous FOPP members. This July, we are shouting out thanks to our Leader of the Pack members!
For more information on how you can be a member of our Friends of Precious Paws, please contact Darby Stubberfield, CDO, at [email protected] or by phone at (904) 647-3751. And please join us in thanking our Leader of the Pack members! 👏 |

✨ Join Our First Coast Family! ✨ |
|
|
Our First Coast Family is made up of donors who elect to sustain our work by making monthly gifts.
When you join our First Coast Family, you’re not just giving once. You’re creating lasting change. Your ongoing support provides reliable support of the work we do for the dogs and cats—and their families and caretakers who love them. Here’s why monthly giving matters: It’s sustainable: You help us plan and respond quickly to urgent needs. It’s convenient: Set it once, and your gift keeps working every month. It’s powerful: Even a small amount, like $10/month, can add up to a big difference.
Thank you for believing in our mission. Together, we can do so much more! |
