Pet Programs

EveryPet offers a variety of programs to strengthen our community, including veterinary services, educational opportunities, and the provision of pet food and supplies.

Veterinary Programs

Affordable, Accessible Veterinary Services.

EveryPet helps keep pets in homes by ensuring that any pet owner can afford to spay/neuter their pets and get medical care that is less expensive than other veterinary hospitals and clinics.

Telemedicine

Designed to make veterinary care highly accessible, our telemedicine consultations can be for anything from diet, preventative care, vaccination information, certain medical issues, or referrals.

Telemedicine provides peace of mind when transport or scheduling presents a challenge to in-person visits.

Pet Food Bank

Some neighbors can scarcely afford to feed themselves, let alone their beloved pets. Thanks to this volunteer-driven program, we help make it easier for people to keep pets in homes and out of shelters.

The EveryPet Pet Food Bank has distributed nearly 2 million pounds of food since it was started in 2010.

Spay & Neuter Programs

Through a number of funding streams, including the City of Jacksonville and private foundation support, we operate one of the largest spay/neuter clinics in the country with over 21,000 surgeries a year, helping all families and caretakers comfortably afford to fix their pets.

Charitable Veterinary Funds

When pet owners cannot afford life-saving treatment and/or essential veterinary care, we turn to our charitable care funds, donor-supported programs that save countless lives, provide essential spay/neuter services, and keep families whole.

Thanks to these funds, no animal will be turned away because they are homeless or because the caretaker is unable to afford critical medical care.

Sulzbacher Center

The Sulzbacher Center houses more than 330 unhoused individuals, many of whom have children and pets. Through this partnership, we are able to help pet owners keep their pets even in times of trouble.

We arrange for temporary foster care for these pets while their owners get back on their feet.

Veterinary Social Worker

A pioneering addition to the team, our licensed Veterinary Social Worker (VSW) supports and strengthens interdisciplinary partnerships that attend to the intersection of humans and animals. As a high-volume, charitable veterinary practice, our VSW cares for both staff and clients through compassion and burnout management, the stressors of caring for a sick beloved family member, animal-related grief or bereavement, and more.
