Rules

By submitting a photo and/or text, you confirm that: (i) you are at least 18 years of age and have reached the age of majority in the state or other jurisdiction in which you reside; (ii) you are the sole owner of the submitted photo or have received permission from the owner to submit it; (iii) you are the sole author of the submitted text or have received permission from the owner to submit it; (iii) to the extent the submitted text contains facts, to the best of your knowledge those facts are accurate, and (iv) you fully understand, accept and agree to be bound by these terms and the terms set forth below.

Submissions may not include (i) images and/or names of any person other than submitter unless (a) such person is at least 18 years of age, has reached the age of majority in the state or other jurisdiction in which they reside, and has consented to their image or name being used, or (b) such person is under 18 years of age and the legal guardian of such minor has consented to the minor’s image and/or name being used; (ii) images of any animal, unless the owner of such animal is at least 18 years of age, has reached the age of majority in the state or other jurisdiction in which such owner resides, and has consented to the animal’s image being used; or (iii) any images or text that may infringe upon the intellectual property rights of a third party.

Submissions shall not be considered or treated as confidential or propriety information. By submitting a photo and/or text, you (i) give EveryPet an irrevocable perpetual royalty-free, sub-licensable, non-exclusive, worldwide right to use your name, the submitted text and/or the submitted photo for any purpose, including, but not limited to, fundraising or to promote EveryPet's mission of providing effective means for the prevention of cruelty to animals throughout the United States; and (ii) agree that in no event shall EveryPet be liable for any losses, expenses or damages (including third party complaints or litigation) resulting from their use of your name, submitted text and/or the submitted photo. You further agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless EveryPet from and against any costs and/or expenses that may arise out of any use of your name, submitted text, and/or the submitted photo. EveryPet reserves the right to edit submitted text as necessary for clarity and length, and to utilize portions or subsections of the submitted text. EveryPet also reserves the right to modify a submitted photo’s dimensions as necessary for use and to edit the photo for clarity.
