Veterinary Social Work At EveryPet
At EveryPet, we understand that caring for animals often means caring for the people who love them as well. Our Veterinary Social Worker, Hanna Wise, is here to support clients and staff through every stage of the human–animal bond.
Whether you’re coping with a pet’s illness or loss, navigating difficult decisions, or simply seeking balance and emotional well-being, Hanna offers compassionate guidance through individual counseling, group grief sessions, and wellness enrichment activities. Her goal is to ensure that no one has to face the challenges of pet care—or the heartbreak of saying goodbye—alone.

3. Memorializing Your Pet
Losing a beloved pet can be incredibly difficult, but finding meaningful ways to honor their life can help you navigate the grief. Here are some ideas to celebrate your pet’s memory:
-
Create a personalized tribute: Make a memorial, photo book, or keepsake box filled with cherished memories.
-
Plant a living remembrance: Plant a tree, flowers, or a garden in their honor.
-
Express your feelings: Write a letter, share a favorite memory, or note the qualities you loved most about your pet.
-
Give back in their name: Consider donating or volunteering to help other animals in need, keeping their spirit alive through acts of kindness.
We are here to support you through the emotional challenges of pet ownership, from coping with illness and end-of-life decisions to navigating grief and loss.
We understand that caring for a beloved animal can bring both immense joy and profound stress, and our goal is to provide guidance, comfort, and resources to help you and your family through every stage.
